14. [REBIRTH]
A temporary layout for 2005. I loved the picture I used, but I didn't like the way this one turned out. I was very similar to V. 13, same width and height, same pop-up page, even the same dimension for the main screen! I only added the bottom buttoms and the outlined design to make it a little different. There wasn't anything special about this except that it was the first "new" layout after about a year of unofficial hiatus.
13. A New Year of Innocence
I never-really liked this layout as much as I should've. I featured the "new" SMercury from the Japan TV Series Pretty Guardian Sailormoon, the new live-action show. I liked the why Hama Chisaki played Mercury so I wanted to feature her on a new layout. This picture had three other matching one - you know, in different poses, but I liked this one. I wanted to have something wintery-like but without the christmas stuff so I made a snow-like background. But, that made the site look childish and stupid. I did like my surrounding link buttons - the text on them was awesome. All in all, it was a rushed effort layout, nothing special.
12. Back to School
This is one of my favorites. I found this picture, I think it's a new drawing by Takeuchi Naoko, at some site (can't remember where). I had Ami carrying books in an autumn surrounding with the falling leaves and everything. I wanted to use the whole image so I just made an i-frame in the middle with a sidewayz pic of Ami's waist as the background. It actually looked kinda good. This was when I started my whole "frameless," DHTML layouts. After I made this *wonderful* layout, I just stopped updating. Too much, school/work. Regardless, I don't think I've ever thought of going back 2 school in such a good light ^_^
11. Watermark
This is my all-time favorite layout to date! I know it may not seem like much, but it really means something to me; it was the first time I really liked my own work. "Innocence" featured an anime SMercury in Super uniform with a luminated, blended profile from her a Stars picture in the background. I really liked the color scheme I used and the stripes/lines on the main page background. I really felt this layout showed the beauty and grace of Mercury, with the blowing hair and the poses. I absolutely loved it then, and I absolutely love it now!
