H&M have the most dramatic and emotional deaths in the Sailor Team. They always break their rules and try to save each other and end with some of saddest dialogue. I always cry when they die; it's so sad! *sniff* But their separations really express their love and devotion to each other. You can't beat two lovers who'll never stop thinking of each other, even in death.
Uranus and Neptune reach a cathedral being constructed on the ocean. Neptune reminds her not to worry about saving each other; only the Talisman are important. They enter the dark and quiet cathedral. The walls are lined with red panels engraved with a picture of cupid with a bow and arrow. Neptune looks around thinking she heard something; her partner walks on confidently.
Suddenly, the red panels begin to move and attack the couple. They managed to dodge a few here in there, but had to use their attacks to destroyed all of them - or so Uranus thought. A panel heads straight for her until Neptune pushes her away. The panel hits Neptune, slaps her against a wall, and seeps through and opening. Shocked, Uranus tries to follow, but the opening closes before she can get to it. In a middle chamber, Eudial plays on an organ and announces - over the loudspeaker - that Neptune holds a talisman. She challenges Uranus to follow the music and find her. She runs towards the middle of the cathedral.
An injured Neptune lies on a red tablet, held tightly by throny vines. The room has no floor, only a narrow walkway. Uranus hurries to reach her partner but falls into another trap. Panels on the walls turn around to reveal dart guns that shoot at the rushing senshi. She is repeatedly shot in the air and finally lays on the ground, badly wounded. Eudial appears and holds a gun to SUranus's chest. She informs her that the trap attacks everyone else but her. Now, she has the second Talisman.
Uranus is confused. Talisman are only inside the hearts of the pure; why would she have one? Eudial presses her gun against her chest, knowing she'll die from the blast whether or not she holds a talisman. But Neptune steps in the way. She breaks free from her bonds slowly walks across the bridge. Uranus screams "No!" but it's too late; the darts shoot through Neptune's frail body. But her will is not broken. She gets up again and starts to walk once more; Eudial is surprised at her resolve. The darts shoot again and make Neptune scream in terrible pain.
Eventually, they run out of ammunition and she continues to approach Eudial. Eudial takes this moment to extract her pure heart and kill her; the Deep Aqua Mirror talisman is revealed.
Usagi bursts in and stops Eudial from shooting SUranus. The gun falls and Eudial is thrown out of the chamber. She tries to get the talisman to go back into Neptune but has no success. Usagi says there's another way to save the world; Uranus almost believes her. She grabs the gun and places it on her chest. Usagi tries to stop her, but she pushes her away.
Uranus takes the gun and shoots herself; her pure heart changes into the Space Sword.
