Sailorneptune's abilities harness the power of the ocean and waves though she cannot manipulate form like Sailormercury. Her strength is mostly offensive, but she does have at least one defensive ability. However, what sets this senshi apart from the others is her talent to use her violin as a weapon to control the waters. She mixes two natural elements to create a substantial amount of force: music and the seas.
This is Michiru's first transformation into Sailorneptune introduced in Episode 106 of the anime and Act 27 of the manga. Eloquently, she catches her henshin pen in mid-air, inducing her bright Neptune sign to emerge from the middle. Michiru then makes a circle around herself and is submerged in a wall of sea water. The water disperses and she runs her hand through her hair, letting the sea "kiss" her lips. She then poses with crossed hands and her waist tilted a little to the side.
Officially shown in Episode 92 and Act 26, this is Neptune's most used attack. She gathers ocean water around her body and collects it in a tight ball in her palms. Neptune increases its strenth and unleashes it in a straightfoward assault. The attack usually hits the enemy and drowns it; the effect is similar to that of a tidal wave.
Neptune's only defensive attack and the most rarely seen. Seen used in Episode 124 and Act 31, Neptune uses her mirror to spray her opponent with an unveiling mist that with shows any weakness. Nothing is hidden from the mist of the all-seeing mirror!
Act 39 was the first time this transformation was used. It enables her to transform into SuperSailorneptune in the Dead Moon Arc and SailorStarneptune in the Stars Arc. Though it is never seen in the anime version, her Stars image song mentions it.
Neptune's most powerful attack first used in Act 43. In it, she uses her violin skills to control her poewr. My hypothesis is that she plays a beautiful - but deadly - tune on her violin. The melody stirs up the waves of the ocean and creates a powerful tsunami that drowns her foe.
