ogata megumi

She can be a man or a woman; an angel or a demon; and still everyone would fall in love with her! Megumi's voice is all-out inspiring. She can easily shift from a playful flirt to an innocent and uncertain anti-hero with ease. You'll hear her most in action and mecha shows like Yugioh!, Street Fight EX, RockMan (MegaMan); but she does not turn down softer roles in shoujo like CardCaptorSakura.

Born on June 06, 1965 in Tokyo, Japan, Megumi is a welcome voice in both the anime and music worlds. She has released 6 solo CDs (now under the name em:ou) and has appeared in numerous others. Her first role was the haunting bishonen Kurama in 1992.[1] From then on, Megumi was cast usually as playful and uncertain characters whose temperament and actions were unpredictable. She also won a few important roles in anime such as:

  • Rockman Zero - Harpuia Kenshou
  • CardCaptorSakura - Tsukishiro Yukito
  • Yu-Gi-Oh! - Mutoh Yuugi
  • Vampire Princess Miyuu - Reiha
  • The Violinist of Hameln - Sizer
  • Magic Knight Rayearth - Princess Emeraude
  • Ah! My Goddess - Morisato Keiichi (child)
